Built in 1909 as a Milwaukee Road railroad crew-change hotel, major renovation in 1992 converted it to a modern country inn with early 1900's ambience. A full country breakfast, often accompanied by live harp music, is a great way to start the day. Guests can have it in bed if requested. In the afternoon, there are homemade brownies, cakes, lemonade, and other snacks to get rid of the guest's munchies. Follow signs to I-90 by turning left on Airway Boulevard and going under the overpass and merging onto I-90 west towards Alberton. Take exit 77. From exit 77, it is two miles to the town of Alberton. The main street in Alberton is Railroad Avenue. The Montana Hotel is very visible on the right hand side. The drive should be around 30 minutes.
