Location. Located off US-171 in Leesville, La., the Booker Lewis Bed and Breakfast is in an historic district 50 miles from the town of Alexandria. Just north of Leesville, the Leesville municipal park has tennis courts, swimming pool, nine-hole golf course and picnic area with barbecue grills. Hotel Features. Built in 1905, this Queen Anne Colonial Revival was completely renovated in 2001 to provide guests with modern, everyday amenities while retaining its antique atmosphere. The house has its original windowpanes and the Louisiana yellow pine that was used to create the door facings, walls and floors. All four of the pocket doors are original, as are the light fixtures in the dining room and foyer. The sunroom offers guests a place to play board games.
